It took a while for Man U to get going, but when they did they ran absolute riot in the Wigan half. All very watchable goals, but the favourite has to be that enigmatic Bulgarian strutting his stuff. Michael Owen had a good chance in the game vs Birmingham, and here finally gave a sampler of the skill that had wowed many on the World Cup stage as a teenager. Nani too finally seems to be getting a decent run this season and the EPL’s the better for it.

Great news for the season, cos Arsenal does need some serious competition – else it gets boring. Just kidding.
