Watch the Croatia 2-1 Germany highlights video from the 2008 Euro Soccer Cup. Darijo Srna and Ivica Olic gave Croatia a 2-0 lead with goals on either side of the mid-break. Olic’s goal had its origins in a defensive mishap by the Germans. Lukas Podolski later slammed in a super goal but Germany will remember this match for the many close chances that went awry due to the poor finish to their passes. Mario Gomez had a frustrating match and Klose was hardly noticeable. As was Ballack. Schweinsteiger was sent off towards close of play while Lehmann (despite a pretty good save in between) will most certainly be sent off after the tournament, quite deservedly. Fantastic win for the Croats. Definite must watch.
