Early into the 2nd half Roger Johnson took a shot on goal that appeared to be covered by Lee Grant, but a mean deflection off Sean McAllister saw Cardiff take the lead. McAllister’s challenge on Ledley midway through the half saw Michael Chopra slot home the resulting penalty and 2-0 it was in favour of Cardiff.
