The highlights consist of two parts. The first includes the opening goal – an own goal by Ooijer that initially was credited to Arshavin. Other close moments are included especially a large number of misses by who else – Nicklas Bendtner. Most of these misses came when Arsenal had only a 1 goal lead. After a while of watching them, it began to look funny – in a let’s-laugh-and-weep-at-the-same time way. The significance of the Arshavin goal increases when you consider it was preceded by all those misses and you wonder how Bendtner scratching at the netting while Arshavin went off on his celebrations could even dare to look a little miffed that Arshavin didn’t consider giving him a go at goal.
There’s also what looks like a horrendous dive by Pedersen and a Diouf-Almunia series of clashes.
