Most of the first half belonged to a luckless Aston Villa as three shots found the crossbar. Denilson and a beautifully worked goal by Abou Diaby put Arsenal 2 goals up and all was well once again among Gunners fans. And then it happened, yet again. 2 goals conceded rather than earned – first an ill-placed Gallas challenge and then terrible defending in injury time to allow Villa to draw the game. Bacary Sagna had a good outing making a spectacular goal-line clearance on one occasion. Ramsey who came on in place of an injured Song looked surprisingly out of sorts.
